Soccer Preview: Mooresville vs. South Iredell
The Mooresville Blue Devils will face off against the South Iredell Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mooresville will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
On Thursday, Mooresville needed a bit of extra time to put away Hickory Ridge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ragin' Bulls , sneaking past 3-2. Even though the Blue Devils got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Tristan Torres was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Meanwhile, South Iredell was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to West Cabarrus. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 355th, while the Wolverines are ranked 150th).
Mooresville's win bumped their record up to 8-3-1. As for South Iredell, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4-1.
