Football Recap: Sports Leadership & Management Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Sports Leadership & Management's offense. They had to suffer through a 34-0 loss at the hands of the Virgin Valley Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 39 points in the game before, the Bulls' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Jaliya Lamb threw for 29 yards on three of six attempts.

Virgin Valley was led to victory by Davie Slack and Linita Kioa. Slack threw for 225 yards and five touchdowns, while Kioa gained 151 total yards and three touchdowns. Slack has been hot for a while, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last ten times she's played.

Sports Leadership & Management's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Virgin Valley, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-1.

Sports Leadership & Management didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 32-0 victory against Bonanza on the 7th. Virgin Valley has also already played their next game (against Shadow Ridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
