South Summit extended their postseason success on Friday against Union. They were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Cougars. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 14 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
The team relied heavily on Malia Olson, who went 3-for-6 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. Brinley Stapleton was another key player, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one RBI.
