Baseball Recap: Carroll County Takes a Loss

Carroll County lost to Switzerland County back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers lost 11-4 to the Pacers. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bryce Furnish was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Trey Miller also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Carroll County now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Switzerland County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-13 record this season.

Carroll County will head out to face off against Frankfort at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Switzerland County, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Clarksville at 6:00 p.m.
