Soccer Game Preview: Clearwater vs. Indian Rocks Christian

The Clearwater Tornadoes will challenge the Indian Rocks Christian Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Clearwater is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Clearwater Central Catholic just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They and the Marauders finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw. The result kept the Tornadoes happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 9, 2024.

Angel Silva and Roberto Jr Martinez scored both of Clearwater's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, Indian Rocks Christian kept a clean sheet against Hollins on Friday. They blew past the Royals 4-0. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Indian Rocks Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-9-1. Clearwater's draw makes their record 6-3-3 this season.
