Recap: Great Falls Red Devils vs. Lewisville Lions

The Great Falls Red Devils lost against the Lewisville Lions back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Great Falls took a serious blow against Lewisville, falling 60-28. Great Falls was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-9.

Great Falls' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Janie Bailey, who scored ten points. Bailey is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Mahogany Bailey, who scored nine points.

Aiyana Murrell continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lewisville, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Murrell has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Trista Kennedy, who scored 11 points along with two steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Great Falls and nudges their season record down to 1-17. As for Lewisville, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-3.

Great Falls won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against McBee at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. Lewisville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
