Softball Recap: Borden Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Borden can now relate to. They lost 13-3 to the West Washington Senators on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Senators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-7 on May 6th.

AJ Mallard made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Eva Eversmann was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Borden's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for West Washington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-5.

As of now, neither Borden nor the Senators have any future games scheduled.
