Basketball Recap: Canby Comes Up Short

Canby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the MACCRAY Wolverines and fell 84-46. The Lancers lost against the Wolverines in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 69-58 score last time.

Canby's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for MACCRAY, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9.

Canby will face off against Ortonville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Canby is facing Ortonville at the right time seeing as Ortonville is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for MACCRAY, they will head out on the road to face off against Lakeview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
