Stratton had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.6 points) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Granada Bobcats, sneaking past 62-59. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since January 14th.

Stratton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Von Isenbart led the charge by dropping a double-double with 18 points and 12 boards. That's the most rebounds Isenbart has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ricky Schillig, who went 6-for-11 en route to 16 points and six boards.

When it comes to explaining why Granada lost, don't look at Maddox Coleman. Despite the final result, he shot 41% from the field on his way to 25 points and six rebounds. The game was Coleman's fourth in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Fernando Cadena, who went 6-for-12 to rack up 12 points and five boards.

Stratton's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points over those games. As for Granada, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-6.

Stratton has already played their next contest, a 72-50 victory against Springfield on the 1st. As for Granada, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 48-45 win against Primero on the 1st.
