Softball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Davenport Central Blue Devils, falling 13-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-7 on Monday.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Davenport Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Clinton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-3 loss against Marquette on the 4th. As for Davenport Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-0 defeat against Pleasant Valley on the 5th.
