Soccer Game Preview: Springtown vs. Lake Worth

Springtown is 2-8 against Lake Worth since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Porcupines will square off against the Bullfrogs at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Tuesday, Springtown came up short against Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast and fell 4-2.

Meanwhile, Lake Worth didn't have quite enough to beat Eagle Mountain on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Springtown's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Lake Worth, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7-2.

Springtown couldn't quite get it done against Lake Worth in their previous matchup back in March of 2025 as they fell 2-0. Can the Porcupines avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
