Volleyball Recap: Lincoln-Way West Comes Up Short

Lincoln-Way West lost against Glenbrook South back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans.

Lincoln-Way West was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Glenbrook South work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-19.

Lincoln-Way West has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season. As for Glenbrook South, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln-Way West will face off against Stagg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glenbrook South, they will take on New Trier at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
