Dorman entered their tilt with Gaffney on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Indians 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-1  back in September.
 Dorman's got stronger as the match went on, holding Gaffney to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-11,  25-9.
 Reese Shugart paced Dorman's offense, picking up 20 kills. Shugart got some help from  Ramsey Larke Chastain and her 28 assists.  Meg Rousseau controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
 Despite the  defeat, Gaffney saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Mayson Brizendine  had ten  digs and two  assists. Brizendine is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in each of the last eight games she's  played.
Dorman's record now sits at 25-6. As for Gaffney, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11-2.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dorman will  challenge  rival Eastside  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Gaffney is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Wade Hampton  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
