Volleyball Recap: New Prairie Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Riley Ernsperger and Josie Woodham

New Prairie's tournament run continued when they took on Lakeshore on Saturday. The Cougars fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 2-1. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

New Prairie's loss came despite strong showings from Josie Woodham and Riley Ernsperger. Woodham had nine digs, while Ernsperger had five digs.

New Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Lakeshore, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

New Prairie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against South Bend Adams on the 4th. As for Lakeshore, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Mishawaka on the 4th.
