Softball Recap: Cary-Grove Takes a Loss

Cary-Grove suffered their biggest loss since April 20, 2024 on Friday. They lost 15-2 to the Grayslake Central Rams. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Cary-Grove saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison DeSomer, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Cary-Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Grayslake Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cary-Grove will host Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The contest will give the Trojans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Grayslake Central, they will challenge Prairie Ridge at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
