Recap: Polytech Panthers vs. Wilmington Charter Force
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Polytech Panthers, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a 10-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Force on Friday. Polytech's loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.
Wilmington Charter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brady harach, who gained 133 total yards and a touchdown.
Wilmington Charter's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. The heavy lifting was done by Joshua Pullin and Finn Sclavounos who racked up four sacks between them.
Polytech's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Wilmington Charter, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3.
Polytech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wilmington Charter will head out on the road to face off against Tatnall at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Tatnall's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight matches.
