Marquette waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Howell Central Spartans. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Marquette were the better team in the second half.

Marquette now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Howell Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2-2.

Looking ahead, Marquette will square off against Kirkwood at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kirkwood will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Marquette surely won't give up without a fight. As for Howell Central, they will head out on the road to challenge Fort Zumwalt South at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
