Soccer Recap: Winter Springs' Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Winter Springs's game back in December of 2024 was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Forest Lake Academy Panthers a 2-0 shutout. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bears as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Winter Springs' win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Forest Lake Academy, they now have a losing record at 4-5-1.

Winter Springs will be playing in front of their home fans against Deltona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Forest Lake Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against University at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
