Volleyball Recap: Excelsior Springs Finds Home Court Redemption Against Grandview + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Excelsior Springs, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Grandview Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Tigers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 30th (when they won 3-0).

One reason for the win was Excelsior Springs' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 25-14.

Among those leading the charge was Raelyn Kirtley, who had six aces and three digs. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Excelsior Springs' victory bumped their record up to 8-17-2. As for Grandview, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Coming up, Excelsior Springs will venture away from home to face off against Raytown South at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grandview, they will welcome Smithville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
