Football Game Recap: Warrensburg vs. Excelsior Springs

On Friday, Excelsior Springs put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season. Everything went their way against Warrensburg as they made off with a 28-7 win. Excelsior Springs were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Excelsior Springs take on Pleasant Hill at 7:00 PM. Pleasant Hill have averaged 40.4 points over the course of their past four games, so Excelsior Springs might be in for a challenge. Warrensburg will stay at home against Oak Grove at 7:00 PM. Oak Grove enter the matchup touting a three-game streak of increasing point totals.
