Basketball Game Preview: Nandua Warriors vs. Arcadia Firebirds

The Nandua Warriors will take on the Arcadia Firebirds at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Nandua comes in on three and Arcadia on six.

Nandua is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on Salisbury Christian with a sharp 76-54 victory on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Warriors have posted since December 3, 2024.

Amari Scarborough had an outrageously good game as he went 7 for 14 on his way to 23 points and six steals. He is becoming a predictor of Nandua's success: when he posts at least three steals the team is undefeated (and 3-6 when he doesn't). Aiden Mcintyre was another key player, going 5 of 9 en route to 11 points and eight boards.

Nandua smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Arcadia was able to grind out a solid victory over Delmarva Christian on Monday, taking the game 62-49.

Arcadia's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. As for Nandua, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Nandua won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, slipping by Arcadia 63-62. Does Nandua have another victory up their sleeve, or will Arcadia turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
