Baseball Recap: Bandon Triumphs

Bandon proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 13) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over the Sutherlin Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since March 25th.

Bandon's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Sutherlin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.

Bandon has already played their next contest, a 9-7 victory against Eddyville on the 16th. As for Sutherlin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 8-6 defeat against Bandon/Pacific on the 14th.
