Baseball Recap: Lowell Red Arrows vs. Kenowa Hills Knights
Lowell fell victim to Kenowa Hills and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. That's two games in a row now that the Red Arrows have lost by exactly four runs.
Lowell got a good showing from Caden Witten, who struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Witten has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.
This is the second loss in a row for Lowell and nudges their season record down to 8-4-1. As for Kenowa Hills, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-2-1.
