Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Comes Up Short

Shawnee lost against Northwestern back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Braves took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Despite the loss, Shawnee still got an impressive performance from Taylor Harris, who had 13 digs. Lily Galbreath was another key player, getting 12 digs and two assists.

Shawnee's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Northwestern, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Shawnee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northwestern, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Miami East on the 22nd.
