Volleyball Recap: Lee-Scott Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Thomasville on Wednesday, Lee-Scott Academy came back down to earth. The Warriors came up short against the Mobile Christian Leopards on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Kensley Shanahan was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs and six aces. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played. Maddie Wilson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Lee-Scott Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 20-13. As for Mobile Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-10 record this season.

Lee-Scott Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mobile Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Houston Academy on the 23rd.
