Volleyball Recap: Grandview Bulldogs vs. Battle Spartans

Grandview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Battle Spartans.

Sebastian Williams paced Grandview's offense, picking up 18 kills. Williams got some help from Alan Uncal-Ramirez and his 26 assists. Rashad Williams controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Grandview's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Battle, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-8-1.

Grandview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Lincoln College Prep on the 19th. After both having extra time off, Battle and Nixa will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
