Volleyball Recap: East Marshall Comes Up Short

East Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lisbon Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

East Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Lisbon, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

East Marshall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Hudson on the 30th. As for Lisbon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against North Mahaska on the 27th.
