Heritage Christian has gone a perfect 10-0 against Eastern Hancock recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Eagles will square off against the Royals at 4:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Heritage Christian sitting on four straight victories and Eastern Hancock on three.
On Saturday, Heritage Christian got the win against Greenwood Christian Academy by a conclusive 12-5. Considering the Eagles have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Will Ambrose made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Eli Strege, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Alex Jackson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs.
Heritage Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Greenwood Christian Academy only posted a batting average of .200.
Meanwhile, Eastern Hancock posted their closest win since May 12th on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over Cambridge City Lincoln.
Caleb Retherford was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI. He has become a key player for Eastern Hancock: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 6-14-1 otherwise.
Heritage Christian pushed their record up to 17-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Eastern Hancock, their win bumped their record up to 9-14-1.
Eastern Hancock's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Heritage Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .323. It's a different story for Eastern Hancock, though, as they've only averaged .256. Will they be able to contain Heritage Christian's hitters?
