Volleyball Recap: Mcmichael Wins Going Away Against Rockingham County

McMichael won the last time they faced Rockingham County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Phoenix put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Phoenix.

Emily Smith was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had nine digs and six assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in September.

McMichael's win bumped their record up to 20-10. As for Rockingham County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

McMichael has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Bartlett Yancey on the 15th. Rockingham County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
