Volleyball Recap: East Limestone Starts Season with Victory at Home

East Limestone took care of business in their home opener on Saturday. They came out on top against the Deshler Tigers by a score of 2-0. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2020.

While East Limestone won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 28-26.

Despite the loss, Deshler still got an impressive performance from Kendall Scogin, who had 12 digs and three aces.

Deshler's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coincidentally, East Limestone and Deshler will both be playing West Limestone the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Wildcats at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
