Volleyball Game Preview: East Bakersfield Blades vs. Del Oro Suns + How To Watch

East Bakersfield has gone a perfect 5-0 against Del Oro recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Blades will be playing in front of their home fans against the Suns at 6:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a classic East v. West duel when East Bakersfield challenged West on Monday. The Blades took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. The defeat continues a trend for the Blades in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 24-26, 25-11, 25-16.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Kaylie Demison, who had 34 digs and three aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 15 times she's played. Roxanna Ramirez was another key player, getting 17 digs and two aces.

Meanwhile, Del Oro lost 3-0 to Foothill on Wednesday.

While Del Oro was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Foothill's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-15, 25-20.

East Bakersfield's loss dropped their record down to 15-9-1. As for Del Oro, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-20.
