Littlefield won the last time they faced Roosevelt and things went their way on Monday too. The Littlefield Wildcats put the hurt on the Roosevelt Eagles with a sharp 14-6 victory. Considering the Wildcats have won ten matchups by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Amaya Mccannick made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over 5.1 innings pitched. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in strikeouts. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Maggie McNeese was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Torres, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
Littlefield kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive games.
