Recap: Friday Harbor Wolverines vs. Orcas Island Vikings

The Friday Harbor Wolverines had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 74-66 win over Orcas Island. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Friday Harbor got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jack Anderson out in front who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Anderson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Pierce Kleine, who scored 15 points.

Friday Harbor's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-9. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Orcas Island, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Friday Harbor will take on the Wolves at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Orcas Island, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Eagles at 12:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Washington (Grace Academy is ranked 285th, while the Vikings are ranked 304th).
