Solares came up big in Kennedy's 12-2 win
Roberto Solares produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Kennedy to the win on Monday. Van Nuys had no answer to Solares as he went 2-for-3 with three RBI, a stolen base, and a double.
Solares' strong effort led Kennedy over Van Nuys and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kennedy is 10-0 against Van Nuys going back to May of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
