Softball Recap: Herrin Tigers vs. Nashville Hornets

While Herrin's win against Nashville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Herrin skirted past Nashville 12-11. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets on Wednesday, too.

Sophia Schramm was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed eight innings while giving up five earned (and six unearned) runs off 13 hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.
