Lake Highland Prep had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 3-1 win over The Villages Charter Buffalo on Saturday. The Highlanders haven't had any issues with the Buffalo recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Lake Highland Prep had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-18.

Paige Perkins paced Lake Highland Prep's offense, picking up 19 kills. Perkins got some help from Elle White and her 25 assists. Isa Umpierre controlled things from the service line, finishing with ten aces.

Lake Highland Prep's record is now 22-6. As for The Villages Charter, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 15-14.
