Volleyball Recap: Francis Parker Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Ethan Brigger and Mike Smith

Francis Parker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the St. Augustine Saints. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Lancers have suffered since March 11th.

While Francis Parker was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-23, 25-22.

Despite the defeat, Francis Parker had strong showings from Mike Smith, who had 37 assists and 11 digs, and Ethan Brigger, who had 11 digs. Brigger is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Francis Parker's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for St. Augustine, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-9.
