Basketball Recap: Shelley's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Shelley came into Thursday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They secured a 53-48 W over the Idaho Falls Tigers on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-44 back in December of 2024.

Shelley's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10. As for Idaho Falls, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-8.

Shelley has already played their next match (against Blackfoot), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Idaho Falls will challenge Skyline at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Skyline will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Idaho Falls surely won't give up without a fight.
