It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Bay ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 38-37 win over the West Florida Jaguars. The Tornadoes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Jaguars, too.

Bay's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Omari Johnson, who picked up 100 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

When it comes to explaining why West Florida lost, don't look at Xavier Finley. Despite the final result, he rushed for 136 yards and three touchdowns.

Bay's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for West Florida, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Bay will challenge Walton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tornadoes are facing the Braves at the right time seeing as the Braves are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for West Florida, they will take on Milton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 13.1 points per game this season, so the Jaguars' offense will have their work cut out for them.
