Recap: Conroe Tigers vs. College Park Cavaliers
The Conroe Tigers waltzed into Friday's game with two straight wins but they left with three. Everything went their way against College Park as Conroe made off with a 49-28 win. The result was nothing new for Conroe, who have now won six contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
College Park's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Cole Snodgrass, who picked up 105 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a rushing scores. Snodgrass was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 66 yards. Conner Dunphy also helped out as he racked up 105 receiving yards.
Even if they lost, College Park's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Emiliano Molinar was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself.
Conroe now has a winning record of 6-5. As for College Park, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Conroe will take on Westfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Westfield knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Conroe likes a good challenge. College Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
