Baseball Recap: Pearl Takes a Loss

Pearl fell victim to Northwest Rankin and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 9-0 to the Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 last Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Pearl and nudges their season record down to 4-10. As for Northwest Rankin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pearl will welcome Brandon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwest Rankin, they will host Germantown at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
