MacArthur entered their tilt with Spring on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Lions.

MacArthur had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final set scores came out to 23-25, 18-25, 25-18, 25-13, 15-8.

The victory improved MacArthur's record to 11-17. As for Spring, they have traveled a rocky road this season, having lost 29 of their first 31 matchups. That leaves them at a 2-29 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. MacArthur is set to challenge their familiar foe Dekaney at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Spring will take on their in-conference opponent Nimitz at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
