Basketball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the V.R. Eaton Eagles 55-22. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 597th, while the Eagles are ranked 242nd).

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for V.R. Eaton, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity and Poteet will round out the year against one another at on Friday. As for V.R. Eaton, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Timber Creek at 11:45 a.m. on December 31st.
