Basketball Recap: Stigler Comes Up Short

Stigler was the 64-52 winner over Westville when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Stigler Panthers lost 61-38 to the Westville Yellowjackets on Monday.

Stigler has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Westville, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Coming up, Stigler will be playing at home against Sallisaw at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 47-28 win against Colcord on the 11th.
