Hardin hasn't had much luck at home recently (they'd lost three straight dating back to last season) but thanks in part to Ella Carleton that streak is no more. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Park Rangers with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday for which the team can thank Carleton, who had ten digs and five aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hardin took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14, 25-13.

Hardin's victory bumped their record up to 8-9-1. As for Park, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Hardin will venture away from home to challenge Huntley Project at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Park, they will head out to face off against Dawson County at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
