Basketball Recap: Logan Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home

Logan had won seven straight home games dating back to last season and Mason Wallin did his part to make it eight on Saturday. The Logan Longhorns came out on top against Fort Sumner/House by a score of 82-72 thanks in part to Wallin, who went 17 of 23 on his way to 40 points and eight boards. Those 40 points gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Bruhn, who posted eight points in addition to 18 rebounds and eight assists. He has been hot recently, having posted nine or more boards the last three times he's played.

Logan's win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Fort Sumner/House, their loss dropped their record down to 16-4.

Logan will head out on the road to challenge Texline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Texline will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Logan surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fort Sumner/House, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 87-43 win against Dora on the 3rd.
