Volleyball Recap: Bexley Starts Season with Win at Home

Bexley took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They blew past the Whitehall-Yearling Rams 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bexley never let Whitehall-Yearling on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-4, 26-24.

Sloan Parker paced Bexley's offense, picking up eight kills. Parker got some help from Elle Cochran and her 14 assists. Molly Carlisle controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bexley is set to challenge their familiar foe Worthington Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Whitehall-Yearling will face off against rival Bishop Ready at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
