Football Game Preview: Haskell Indians vs. Archer City Wildcats + How To Watch

The Haskell Indians will head out on the road to take on the Archer City Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Archer City took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Haskell, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Haskell made easy work of Munday and carried off a 44-20 win. With the Indians ahead 30-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Archer City's offense. They were outmatched by Windthorst and fell 63-0. Having soared to a lofty 44 points in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

The victory made it two in a row for Haskell and bumps their season record up to 4-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.0 points over those games. As for Archer City, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Everything went Haskell's way against Archer City in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Haskell made off with a 37-16 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Wildcats' Landon Smith, who rushed for 189 yards and one score while picking up 9.0 yards per carry.
