Basketball Game Preview: Kenton Wildcats vs. Memorial Roughriders

Kenton hasn't had much luck against Memorial recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Kenton Wildcats will welcome the Memorial Roughriders at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Kenton is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 16th straight game on Tuesday. They fell 54-42 to North Union.

Meanwhile, Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-43 heartbreaker at the hands of Sidney. While losing is never fun, the Roughriders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 580th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 235th).

Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Kenton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-16.
