Soccer Recap: Murphy Comes Up Short

Murphy was the 2-1 winner over Theodore when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Murphy Panthers fell just short of the Theodore Bobcats by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Murphy and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Theodore, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-8-1.

Coming up, Murphy will head out to face off against St. Paul's Episcopal at 5:30 p.m. on March 25th. As for Theodore, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Theodore duke it out with Baldwin County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Their offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for ten straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
